Almost half of the children in Guatemala under 5 years old suffer from generational poverty. They are chronically malnourished and lack the vital vitamins and minerals needed grow up healthy and strong. Currently, they have no hope for the future because their body never fully develops because of the undernourishment at an early age.
Our goal is to change this fact by providing medication and multi-vitamins to these vulnerable children and their families. These medications and vitamins are expense though and we don’t charge anything for our treatments. We need your help to purchase these much needed supplies. For the cost of a single meal at your favorite fast food restaurant ($10) you can provide a child one daily multi-vitamin and a parasite prevention regiment for a whole year.
This is just one of the issues we treat at our clinics. Diabetes and high blood pressure are common in Guatemala, along with infections, burns and common aliments, to name a few.
