WELCOME TO OUR NEW WEBSITE! We hope you enjoy it and spend a little time learning about our ministry. Just wanted to let you know, we are not quite done with every page so there are few areas that are still under construction. Thank you so much for visiting us and feel free to drop us a line and tell us what you think!
Prevention is better than cure. But what if you can't access either? Too poor to afford things like vitamins, fruits and vegetables — or routine doctor visits — families in poverty are left vulnerable to simple diseases. Many in Latin America also have never been taught basic health and hygiene principles. These factors put families at risk of disease and can threaten lives.
Some of the most common diseases in Latin America are curable — even preventable. But many are suffering and dying from these treatable ailments. A cold can develop into pneumonia. Burns go untreated. Diarrhea ravages both the young and elderly. Diabetes and high blood pressure weakens bodies. Headaches and other warning signals of greater ailments must not be ignored.
J33 Missions' medical ministry is helping hundreds who are in need of medical attention, all while displaying the love of Christ.
Medical clinics, a major aspect of J33 Missions' medical ministry, bring medical staff, medical treatments and health training to areas where people rarely have the chance to see a doctor. These clinics minister along-side the local church in remote villages, crowded slums or any place there is need and opportunity. One camp typically serves anywhere from 200 to 1,000 children and adults. Local medical personnel are invited to serve at the clinic, providing free pediatric and general health care. We have joined forces with GSG Missions, a 501(c)(3) mission, and are excited about the growth we are going to have, being able to help thousands!
